      The warning signs are there - what a shame

      Pros

      Great brand and family values Amazing colleagues I can call friends

      Cons

      1 senior director with a long length of service and a great reputation among peers fired on the spot for no reason Another senior director on long-term sick leave Staff looking at leaving, morale low or culture of what now feels like feer and paranoia Having been here for many years I (and others) can see the warning signs of our new CIO and leadership style (lack of) slowly dismantling IT and trying to erase years of great achievements and progress, for her own ego and hero complex. Belonging at Bacardi is definitely not at play here ....

      Pros

      Great brands, 100% family company, many good people, fewer and fewer though, so many good people have been fired by all the many CEOs with no other reason than the need to place their own people nstead. Great Harvard program for the happy few.

      Cons

      Too much politics. Like a monarchy, only way to survive is to please the current CEO. If one dares to disagree and speak up, the person is fired. It is dangerous for a company to have that autocratic style of management.

      Great products , operationally lacking

      Pros

      Nice to work for a company that is often seen in the media , can be fun at times as you learn about the products . In chaos opportunities present themselves , if you take risks and are willing to roll up your sleeves you can get some great experience , but once you start to deliver and threaten the old practices the dinosaurs will kick you out , so find that balance quickly.

      Cons

      Back office functions disorganised , from Finance who can never quite get the basics right , through IT that cant provide even basic WIFI across the company to Global Operations that is run like a dictatorship in the 19th century . Sales and Commercial normally below expectations .
