Pros

Good support as an employee. As much as the 'group' is a drawcard: your clinical learning is still dependent on the practitioners within your individual practice. PD fund, weekly mentoring etc

Cons

May make you squeamish if you are a completely sales adverse health practitioner. They didn't become the biggest Physio group in Australia without thinking about marketing, retention etc I looked into directorship and decided it wasn't for me - I think BIM is great as an employee, but tread with care and ask for facts+++ before going into directorship (I found senior management very keen to talk about growth, future, REVENUE etc without showing facts and figures - not good enough if your going to sink hundreds of thousands of dollars into opening a practice)

Pros

Good clients to work with

Cons

Talks about culture but it’s all superficial. Lies to employees about public holiday pay and only cares about selling stock and getting patients to rebook and making as much money as possible.
