RecommendsNeutral OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at Bankwest full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
Amazing culture, more like a family culture. Managers and Team Leaders are very approachable. Responsible company. Great company benefits as opposed to other banks. Innovative company always looking to move forward with their strategies. Fantastic coaching and training. Opportunities for volunteering. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Cons
The salaries are a lot lower in comparison with other banks. Always understaffed due to resource cutting, so the workload was always high, always causing customer dissatisfaction. A lot of CBA influences in the past few years, some benefiting the company, others not. Developing your career may take a few side way steps, before being promoted to a position you are after.

RecommendsNeutral OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI have been working at Bankwest full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
- Very friendly culture lots of support from colleagues - Culture is not as cut throat and sales obsessed as the big 4 - Larger focus on client relationship building
Cons
- Inefficiencies in various processes which can make things needlessly difficult - Poor relationship with credit risk, due to high volume - Risk appetite is conservative which can put a strain on client relationships
"Limited opportunities, too much bureaucracy"

Doesn't RecommendI have been working at Bankwest full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
Flexible work arrangements, some banking benefits (not many left).
Cons
Too much bureaucracy for any opportunity. Favouritism at every step. If you are not playing it right, you are forgotten. High attrition rates should be taken seriously. Used to have decent benefits, now only some left for namesake. Work life balance depends on your area of work. Management expects people to take more responsibilities without expecting anything in return.
