Pros

Mostly great coworkers and depending on the team you might also have a really good manager.

Cons

- Macho culture with a lot of promoting based on knowing the right person rather than who is suitable for the role, especially when it comes to managerial roles. - Pay is in favour if you are male and women often get paid less, even if they have more experience than other male coworker (this within the same team and not comparing against other roles). It seems like it matters more what company you used to work for rather than the experience itself. - Claiming you are able to negotiate your pay when you are joining or if you are getting a promotion, this is not the case and you are often getting a salary and there is no room to discuss this further.

Pros

Overall, my colleagues are amazing and also the reason for me staying at Bannerflow.

Cons

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. One day you ask your colleagues and employees to write positive feedback on Glassdoor because of previous bad reviews. This request led to more bad reviews, and the next day you write about great company culture on LinkedIn. If you really want to live and breathe the goal of establishing a great company culture, a great piece of advice would be to start being more transparent with us, the employees. You ask a lot of us in terms of giving feedback on culture, work environment, and leadership, but you never present any findings or insights. This makes me wonder, are you afraid to share the results? The overall level of dissatisfaction on both floors has never been higher during my time here. People are getting promised promotions, increased salaries, and that things are about to change. But are they really? There is a strategy to hire unproven people without previous experience in senior roles. This has led to slow development, confusion, and a lot of interim solutions. Mid management, leaders, and uncompetitive salaries are the main reasons people are leaving.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I understand that there are different views on what constitutes a good company culture, and while I appreciate your opinion, I would like to assure you that we are committed to transparency and creating a positive work environment for all our employees. I want to clarify that our request for feedback on Glassdoor was not meant to censor negative feedback, but rather to encourage all employees to share their honest opinions about the company. We value all feedback, positive or negative, as it helps us identify areas where we can improve and build upon our strengths. Regarding your concerns about transparency, we take all feedback seriously and have been working on addressing the issues raised by our employees. While we cannot share all the details of our findings and insights, we are committed to making changes where necessary and communicating these changes to our employees. We understand that there have been challenges in terms of slow development and confusion, but we are actively working to address these issues and provide opportunities for growth and development for all our employees. We also regularly review our salaries to ensure they remain competitive within the industry. Thank you again for your feedback, and please know that we are committed to creating a positive work environment for all our employees. //Andreas - Head of People & Culture

Pros

Bannerflow has a great technology and is probably a great company to work for outside of the sales & marketing department.

Cons

At Bannerflow, you will have to earn the trust of the management. Most team members will have to follow the instructions but some will have a special treatment. The organisation will always trust their most senior sales person. You will constantly be benchmarked (and pressured) with their best sales person even if you don't play with the same cards on the table. The management is fully aware of this as they encourage this type of "special management" for the people they trust and trust only. Besides, the management will also pressure you to always be on time and leave the office rather late without considering any logistic challenges that you may have with family (and more importantly children). Needless to say, that being in the office was important even during Corona time vs home office. If you like being treated fairly (which is the basic), I wouldn't recommend you to work for Bannerflow. It is too much of a cow boy culture.
