When I first joined BenefitHub, I was genuinely excited about the friendly, team-oriented environment that emphasized relationships among colleagues. Unfortunately, over time, it became clear that these values were not consistently upheld. Teams that excelled received little to no recognition, and there was a noticeable lack of consistency in job responsibilities.
After the company was acquired—and subsequently acquired another organization—leadership used the transition as an opportunity to dismiss dozens of employees without warning, showing little appreciation for their contributions. Many skilled individuals were let go, and managers were replaced by people who appeared to have personal ties to the new leadership rather than relevant qualifications.
As a result, morale has declined significantly, and many teams are now demotivated. Based on my experience, I would not recommend working at BenefitHub.
