    I worked at Biffa full-time

    Pros

Well organised, well run and friendly atmosphere. Really enjoyed team, hard working but laid back.

    Cons

Office location is a little awkward quite far outside of London but near major motorways so that makes it easier

    Advice to Management

Continue doing what you are doing, great place to work. Continue to improve systems to maximise output across company

I have been working at Biffa full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Flexible working,
    Good People,
    Great focus on employee engagement

    Cons

Little or no communication from management & not listening to feedback from staff
    Low salaries
Different managers left to manage their teams which means different teams get different benefits. IE one team will get flexible working the team sat next to them won't as the manager doesn't believe in it. Leaves staff feeling resentful and disengaged.
Managers taking long breaks not coming in until late morning but monitoring their staffs working works to make sure they are completed ETC.

    Advice to Management

Communicate better with staff and one rule for all. Not one rule for one member of staff and something completely different for someone else.

I worked at Biffa full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

some nice staff who are friendly

    Cons

if your black -your face wont fit when it comes to management

    Advice to Management

look at your board of directors- not one black person, or of ethnic origin.
The training team is exactly the same, how can a company in 2018 employee ethnic people, but have no ethnic trainers.

Another bad point at Biffa, got to watch out, you can be hired and fired through redundancy in the space of a year. The management excuses are rubbish.

    I worked at Biffa full-time

    Pros

    They pay on time.

    Cons

Being constantly disrespected and spoken down to , sworn at (all kinds of colourful language) by customers, being monitored on "comfort breaks" as if you were at school. The wage is not comparable to what staff have to endure.

    Advice to Management

Staff aren't appreciated enough. The low wage they are paid doesn't match what emotionally they have to endure.

    I worked at Biffa full-time

    Pros

Fantastic people with a good work ethic

    Cons

Fractured management and a lack of respect for operational teams

    Advice to Management

Focus more on the operational teams, without them company will not function
