Pros

- Product training is good and thorough (videos, webinars etc). - Fellow comrades in the trenches are an absolute pleasure to work with and allows one to tolerate the madness for longer than would otherwise be possible. - Good path to move upwards in your career to NetSuite and Oracle - Reasonably good packages on offer as a new employee however once you’re in, pay rises and promotions are tiny and few and far between.

Cons

Bronto Software is a company that purports to have a culture of "openness, approachability and transparency". After working there for well over a year I can confirm that this is most certainly not the case. Every company has a culture that is ultimately enforced from the top down. Bronto is of no exception, and it is a pity that the current management team of this business is such that the attempted manipulation and over-exertion of control of its employees is never ending. The reader will of course not just look at this post, but will see other reviews specifically regarding the London office citing similar issues: manipulation, mind games, micro-management, limited flexibility. Staying late is an expectation (even after individual targets have been met). Strict policy to be at your desk at 8:30am or you’re getting in trouble. If you are coming to Bronto to work in sales, then be very careful. The turnover is absolutely insane like nothing I have ever seen, and they have not hit their new business target for several quarters - (Note to management: there is only a certain number of times you can blame others for this before you need to be looking in the mirror as to where the problem truly lies). I must also echo the previous reviewer's comments regarding the supposed Graduate Scheme. Any graduate reading this should be absolutely clear on the fact that there is no graduate program. None. There is nothing. You might think you're coming to work for Oracle (because legally, that would be correct) but make no mistake that you will not go on a single industry-standard training course, and you won't be spending any time in other departments. You will be sitting there, at your desk, learning absolutely nothing and making 60 dials a day "or else". Note: Many people leave to go to NetSuite or Oracle. None have come the other way. Don’t let this or the previous reviews put you off. With new management, the company has a lot of potential.

“Talented team under Micromanagement and Draconian Rule”

Pros

- Friendly, committed, and intelligent employees. People are always there to help you out whenever needed. - What Bronto sells is totally awesome! - As a Salesman, you receive great training which is vital for your future career path.

Cons

- No appreciation for your hard work. - Upper management of the London office cares little about employees and their lives. Lower management is instructed by upper management to apply micro-management even if this isn’t necessary for the team to excel. I was on sick leave once and was questioned whether I was genuinely sick or not. There is no faith and everyone seems suspicious of one another. If you make a small error, management is patronising and openly ridicules you, which alienates you even further and leads to an immature work environment. -There is no room for sharing ideas and knowledge between the seniors and the juniors. Management have all the power and say. - Absolutely no flexibility. It is like entering a boarding school and you are expected to stay at work during the long hours. - Many great and talented people have left, since they are sick of being micromanaged. - ‘I didn’t enjoy going to work and was counting my days here, which was very unfortunate seeing I started out with a lot of enthusiasm’.

Cons

- No flexibility - Micromanagement (causes school-like environment - whole team from junior to senior level is belittled) - Bad seeds in management - Little appreciation for strong team - Little input in career growth. A path is set for you. (this applies to London office)
