I have been working at Brown-Forman full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

A culture that supports its employees with strong benefits, collaborative culture and empathetic leadership.

    Cons

Only potential con is sometimes there can be too much collaboration which is an adjustment for newer employees

    Advice to Management

Continue to embrace a culture of agility, bias for action and empowerment through ups and downs of the sales cycle.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No Opinion of CEO

I worked at Brown-Forman full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Based in central London, Major Brands, competitive salary

    Cons

Not for the long term, hire and fire at a remarkable rate. Senior Managers often disappear without any notice. Run from the US, very little feedback or communication - you are either in or out.

    Advice to Management

Try a little openness and honesty. Share plans rather than implement them without discussion. Not every senior post has to be given to a US appointment.

I worked at Brown-Forman full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - Great benefits, great people to work with and quite a lot of flexibility - Informal dress code, relatively new tech - fully embracing G-Suite - Regular town hall events, lunch&learns, initiatives and many free meals and bottles to take home - Allowance for merchandise and spirits

    Cons

    - Undergoing changes so a lot of uncertainty - Workloads not balanced very well - some people quite bored - Not many opportunities to progress upwards - teams mostly consist of interns and experienced managers

    Advice to Management

Basics need to be done better, develop people in their roles if there aren't any opportunities for upward progression. Keep up with the good stuff you are already doing.
