Rife with lawsuits and issues

Pros

You can use it as a dating service, everyone else does.

Cons

This group is run by a bunch of sexual deviants who use their "we don't believe in exec titles" to blame each other for the myriad of issues they currently have, ranging from sexual harassment lawsuits to inappropriate relationships with employees both onshore and "near shore". The company is entirely unstable and completely disorganized.

Although this sounds like a prankster rather than a legitimate review, Canidium will respond here. Canidium has no pending legal matters or lawsuits. Canidium has a published HR policy governing and does not tolerate inappropriate behavior.

Disconnected leadership creating toxic culture

Pros

Great people you work with on a daily basis. Most consultants work really hard to do what’s right for the clients regardless of the tough circumstances they are faced with.

Cons

Some members of Leadership are disconnected from what it takes to successfully deliver a project in an employee first way - treating people with respect and being willing to listen to the concerns of the team they manage. Some members of the leadership team care more about their title and proving their are in charge than doing what’s right for the people they manage. Pay and benefits aren’t stellar. People are either bored or over worked, no real middle ground. A decent amount of favoritism makes some people untouchable while others who work hard go unnoticed and ignored.

Thank you for taking the time to give us this feedback. We are sorry that this was your experience with our leadership team. Our leadership team has and maintains an open door policy both in person and virtually. They are always willing to hear and work out any concerns you may have. We understand there is down time in between projects and we try and do our best to fill employees bench time. We have various internal meetings, projects, and initiatives that enable employees to contribute to process improvement of the company when they are in between projects. As far as compensation, we do keep up on our research to make sure we stay competitive. Canidium actually won an award in 2019 for having one of the best compensation plans. It is unfortunate to hear that you felt you experienced favoritism during your time with us. We staff our projects based on what the resource needs are and who best fits those needs. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Decent company with great people. The company respects and trusts you from the beginning, for the most part and working remotely allows for a lot of flexibility.

Cons

If you are a minority, opportunity for growth and promotion are almost non-existent, they won't see you. The same demographic type moves ahead year after year which is hard to overlook.

Thanks for the review and we agree with the Pros except perhaps the descriptor 'Decent'; we think Canidium is great and always welcome suggestions and criticisms for improvement. We're a bit puzzled by the Cons section comment regarding diversity. Canidium takes diversity of its workforce very seriously and recently won an award in recognition of this ( https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/19/12/r15015708/canidium-named-among-the-50-best-smallmid-size-companies-for-diversity ). Additionally, during our most recent round of promotions over 50% of those promoted were either minorities or female (females are a minority in our industry). The comment simply does not reflect reality at Canidium.
