* real software engineering challenges * interesting business problems * small enough that you can experiment with new technologies and try out new ideas * large enough that there is stability and people that can challenge you and you can learn from * if you want to create change, senior management will listen * fantastic work life balance * team members that are kind and keen to collaborate
Cons
* some parts of the company still stuck in the past and you have to deal with them from time to time. But very much moving towards modern devops * diversity is more lacking than I would like but that’s sadly finance for you * no equity * paternity leave is poor
