Laid-back work environment, challenging projects, intelligent co-workers, better than average work-life balance, salary/promotion review every 6 months.
Cons
Salaries are slightly lower than for similar positions at larger firms. The trade off for working at a smaller firm is that there are many more opportunities to advance within the company and also to interact with clients + the senior leadership team.
The work environment is very good, people are helpful and not much politics. You have great work life balance. You can work from home and if there are emergency you can get extended leaves. Insurance and other benefits are there and decent levels of compensation.
Cons
Pay is at median and below median levels. Decision making takes time and higher management is little risk averse, which necessarily might not be a bad thing.
The knowledge of Chainalytics team members and their willingness to share is what drew me in. The opportunities to learn are endless at this rapidly growing firm! The culture at Chainalytics makes it a very comfortable environment in which to work.
Cons
As with any growing company, getting new processes up-and-running can be challenging, but It is positive to see management actively working on streamlining policies and procedures.
Great place to start your career with exposure to real-world enterprise projects.
Flexible work environment with supportive managers who are open to new ideas.
Cons
Limited growth in terms of tech stack and modern frameworks unless self-initiated
