I have been working at ClassicCars.com for over 2 years. During that time I have seen so much growth and development so I was surprised to see the recent reviews on this site. I guess you really can’t believe everything you read on the internet! We have many talented, innovative, hardworking, and yes, long term employees/managers who make this a great place to work, and it is a privilege to work alongside them. We are expected to work hard and give 100% and what I love about that is in a small company, like ours, you get to see your hard work make a difference. That is rewarding to me and drives me to do a great job! I’m not saying there aren’t days that are stressful or that everyone here is perfect, but we are a small company that has accomplishes very big things! We are the world’s largest collector car marketplace. Today, our Alexa rating in the US is 1,048. Ask anyone who knows anything about Alexa ratings and they will tell you how huge that is. We have over 3 million viewers come to our site every month. Our Classic Car Daily News recently won an award as the second most influential automotive blog out of the top 100. We have been named to the Inc 5000 fastest growing private companies two years in a row – 2015 and 2016. Our Customer Support Team was recently awarded the Gold Stevie Award for superior customer service. Those accomplishments don’t happen by themselves, it takes dedicated hard working employees/managers who love their job to make them happen. I am proud to be a part of the team!
Cons
• If you are slow to adapt, un-motivated, or just plain lazy this is not the place for you.
• Being a small company at times it can be all hands on deck to accomplish the things we have.
• As with any office there can be unnecessary drama. Anytime 20 some people from all walks of life spend 8 hours together 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year that is just bound to happen. It’s how you respond to it that makes the difference.
