Status quo and coasting seems to be preferred at high level, not progressive.

Director level and higher is mostly smoke and mirrors with some who are very conniving.
HR makes major (negative) operations decisions along with with a VP who bullies staff and changes how staff are handled from person to person, you're unable to advance if she doesn't like you.
CEO not involved at all except to make decisions that help board members or hiring friends. Good ole boy system hard at work.
You have to fake it to make it, it's known and most do.
Frontline or management don't feel the bonuses.
Salary structure very skewed as the face, heart and soul of the organization work min wage jobs.
