Pros
I have worked for Convenient MD for eight years! When I started there was a doctor in every clinic and we were valued by the administration and owners. At the time there was only five clinics, so our expertise was actively sought. I was also featured on multi media campaigns and on several billboards. Pay is fair, and the snacks are good.
Cons
I had received a raise in November 2022 and signed a new 2 year full time contract. I was working telehealth at the time. On February 1 2023, I received a phone call that I was being laid off, no severance, nothing. I was offered a job in a clinic but was scheduled for knee surgery on 2/14, so I could not walk. To add insult to injury I injured my knee while on active duty in the Air Force. So I was offered a job I was unable to perform physically. I believe this violates Americans with Disability Act. Needless to say, I hired a lawyer, and Convenient MD’s lawyers stance is that I still work there, even though I havent made any money for more than 7 months, and they gave me nothing for violating my contract. To top it all off they wouldnt release my 401K money for 7 months. I wonder if they have been using my medical licenses all this time? Doctors CMD is not interested in your expertise or your loyalty. I was laid off 5 days after the new CMO took over. Maybe I was making too much money, who knows I was told it wasnt personal. Convenient MD strives to hire cheap inexperienced midlevels.
