Pros

An amazing, helpful and motivated global team, unafraid and always willing to help across departments. Senior leadership is very supportive, always encouraging teams to take ownership of their roles and always receptive to suggestions to help improve what we do. Overall, great place to work.

Cons

Working with a global team is exciting but it'd be great to meet face to face more often!

Pros

I had a great experience working as a remote content editor on Cozymeal’s magazine team. The team of editors and writers was collaborative, friendly, and professional. I also had the opportunity to work directly with the CEO on strategic projects. He is very knowledgeable about the industry and the best practices of content marketing and was actively involved in shaping content direction, which made the work both insightful and engaging. Overall, the work environment was supportive, and I appreciated the opportunity to grow and contribute meaningfully to the team.

Cons

I was fully remote and while I liked the flexibility, I missed the in-office experience

Pros

Fun job, lots of involvement with team. There is always something to keep busy with.

Cons

I don't usually write reviews; however, I was surprised to see so many 5-star reviews for this company that were wolves in sheeps' clothing. The reviews blatantly aimed to put down and discredit unhappy employees and put the founder on an unreasonable pedestal that make the reviews seem fake. While the work environment was not terrible, to see reviews putting down employees who complained about compensation is quite ridiculous. Living in San Francisco is expensive, and for a boss to not see your worth and offer you veiled benefits of fun and potential growth; this may not be worth your time. You make the decision for yourself, but if you see the warning signs, don't make the same mistakes we did.
