      Worst Experience Ever at a Startup

      Pros

      Young team, couple of social events per month. Opportunity to learn and interact with several cultures, countries and languages. New technologies and opportunity to work remotely from time to time.

      Cons

      Low salaries justified by false promises of senior positions, trips, bonuses and salary increments. No health insurance. Late payment. Having to work on all the holidays without extra compensation. No compensation of travel expenses when being sent to another country with higher costs of life. Have to bring your own laptop. No compensation after being laid off along with other 20 team members.

      Pros

      -multinational environment (people were nice and cool)- Some of them are still my friends although I'm not working there for months.

      Cons

      -management- employees are just money makers -work as freelancer, no employment contract (so they dont need to pay taxes, but still you have to be everyday in office), of course no benefits -working hours- you have to be in office 9.30am-6pm but you have to be available 24/7, working during nights, holiday, public holidays (in office- yep, against law, but who cares, right) -you have to use your own laptop -they fired 20 people in one 5min meeting (thats how they treat the employees) -people from different country having completely different salaries (for the same work some people got 2,5-3times higher salary) -And kinda most important thing- basically its stealing money from kids

      Good conditions with great flexibility

      Pros

      Very good compensation package with fair benefits including flexible work time, paid holiday, a lot of business trips (depending of position and business need though), regular company and team events. Great office in Center of Amsterdam, cool office atmosphere with team lunch every day.

      Cons

      Often change of priorities and strategy what can be hard unless you are used that is how it works in fast changing industry like Entertainment.
