D R Newitt prides itself on being an 'old school' recruitment company. It takes enjoyment from setting unrealistic KPI's, micro - managing its staff and promoting bullies into Senior Management positions. D R Newitt has the culture of 'if your face fits' and if it doesn't, prepare yourself for a horrific experience. Expect to be treated like you are in school - if popular, you will be treated with trips and ad-hoc perks. However, if the two Directors decide they don't like you , you will be pushed out by force. D R Newitt is a company thriving on scare tactics. Plasma screen TV's line the walls detailing who isn't achieving and they tell (demand!) their own staff to write positive Glassdoor reviews for them while they delete negatives. Even once you have come to your senses and left, horrible rumours are spread by Senior Management to all your previous peers and I have even seen threatening letters being sent out warning against future employment. I have been in recruitment a long time and can confidently confirm, I have never worked for a more horrific company or Senior Management Team in my entire career. Avoid D R Newitt at all costs.
