      Pros

      Experience available on many different EC projects, with potential for great management responsibilities. The EC brand has many benefits on a candidates CV.

      Cons

      The salary is poor given the amount of unpaid overtime, lack of paid holiday, and absolute minimum social security package and visa support. The upper management give very little regard to their employees - very little incentive to stay at the company beyond accumulating the minimum experience needed to move on.

      Pros

      - Good exposure to EU projects. - Generally speaking, you can get involved in a wide variety of tasks that are transferrable e.g. report writing, client management, event coordination.

      Cons

      - Management frequently behave in a Dickensian way (e.g. misleading staff about reimbursement procedures in order to save money, refusing to pay for overtime). - Bizarrely, the company refers to its employees as 'Consultants' but this only serves to remove basic entitlements such as paid holiday, sick leave and health insurance. - There is an office culture of working VERY long hours, which is surprising because almost every task the company needs you to do is easy and simply requires basic common sense. - No training or feedback, and although the 'Project Manager' are line managers, they provide no support or mentoring for younger staff.

      Pros

      I wasn't hired at the lowest level, so the salary was good. It's a very goal-oriented company, rather than being truly focused on getting the projects done well. I had a chance to do some higher level work than I'd done before, which was nice.

      Cons

      Interns are ground down to nothing - 60 hours/week is basic. Sometimes people would work 80-100. Super messy & disorganized office. Pretty bad planning for big projects - no coordination, no discipline in organizing things to be better from management. Staff pulls frequent all-nighters.
