Pros

Developing on fairly modern tech. Work colleagues are always helpful when needed.

Cons

No payrise or bonuses this year despite being pushed and led on by the CTO to do free out of hours development (over 150+ hours) as we would “see the bump in our bonus this year”. Also it was mentioned earlier in the year by the CEO that there would be bonuses. Although the team and development leads are very experienced and technical, there has never been a technical drive from above, this has led to teams becoming siloed and doing things their own way instead of working towards common practices. They have recently hired 2 development directors to try and align things. With teams constantly being made thinner with on the spot redundancies, more corners are getting cut daily with increased pressure on teams which is leading to tech dept.
