Pros

Stable career Peers especially in tech & engineering roles tend to be nice Still a good place to work for in the short to medium term but it's definitely more a springboard than a forever home

Cons

Management has head in sand mindset, refusing to believe that the world and even rest of government has already long surpassed them in technology. Choosing instead to make excuses and stick to old methods that are outdated in today's rapidly advancing world. Avoid staying for long if you aspire to work in tech as they will only teach you bad coding practices and outdated tech stacks.

Pros

Great foundation building for procurement

Cons

A lot of red tape. A lot of time spend drafting papers for approval rather than formation of actual procurement strategy

Disparaging Work Environment

Pros

Decent pay but pretty low to what I am earning currently. Good springboard for those who want to gain work experience before joining the private sector. Sweetest decision to leave this organisation and settled down elsewhere where I can connect with people of similar vibe.

Cons

Some experiences: 1. Told off by some quirky senior guy on my non-compliance of dress code policy (where i did). 2. Encountered another self-entitled whom I don’t work with made comments like “I am disruptive to his work” when I am using a shared terminal. Company wants staff to innovate, but the work environment seems to be innovation adverse. No wonder company always few steps behind other countries.
