Pros
- People are nice enough, however the turnover rate is too high to truly get to know anyone. - Good exposure to the industry. - Great location. - Some of training is good - however there is no need to repeat it every three months for the sake of it.
Cons
- Let's start with management - under-qualified, overpaid, often arrogant and unfriendly. In a desperate attempt to hold onto employees they really do reward loyalty. However, it's difficult to respect managers who have only ever known one role within one company and this does create almost a bubble of naivety. - Hours - too long. It's true that the 9-5 is a rare find however, the 8.30-6 demanded by RB is totally unnecessary, especially given a full hours lunch is frowned upon and you literally cannot leave before 6. This is also made worse given the offices in Sydney and U.S. inexplicably work half an hour less on higher pay... - ...which brings me rather nicely onto the pay... Do not be fooled by false promises of "£2,000 minimum increase every quarter"... It took me nearly a year to go up by said double that, which, given the unjustifiably low starting salary makes no sense at all. In fact , the quarterly review itself has become more of a means to belittle and scaremonger employees than the productive, personal progression discussion it was made out to be. - They have truly lost sight of the culture. Resultantly since I joined last year nearly 16 members of the team have left or been fired. Somehow this turnover rate seems to go unnoticed.
