Pros

The patients are great and it's nice to help elderly patients in their home.

Cons

The ONLY thing this company cares about is falsifying their stats to make them better positioned for a big payday when they sell. Their Net Promoter Score of 95% is a total lie. The employees fill out the survey for all the patients. You WILL be pressured to keep EVERYONE at home. Unstable vitals? No problem. Critical lab values? Not important. Need a CT scan? Nah, not here. Obvious DVT? Just order an outpatient US and hope someone follows up if it's positive. Need a CBC or blood cultures? Nope, we don't do that either. Send ANYONE to the ED because that's what they need? You will be questioned. The equipment is also a joke. Cheapest of everything. Refurbished IT equipment that doesn't hold a charge, EKG stickers that don't "stick", suture kits that are like a children's toy. They hire cheap EMTs and give them one day of "training" to do skills that they have never done before like 12-leads and IV placement/blood draws. They leave it to the NP/PAs to train them in the field, but they all quit long before they are proficient - and then the cycle repeats. Oh and if your EMT calls out? Then go out alone into bad neighborhoods, drive the car, carry all the gear, and treat patient's solo. And your refurbished company cell phone won't have a signal to call for help. Don't want to go out alone because it's not safe? Then go home with NO pay. Oh, you have a contract? Yeah we don't honor anything in that. Seriously...I beg you...if you want to keep your license, not end up in court, or end up being held hostage by a patient because you are alone at night without anyone at the company caring about it....RUN, RUN, RUN.

Pros

interesting, sometimes challenging job, advertised at 10 hr shifts. Docs who were called when there was a clinical question were all approachable, reasonable and great to work with. Every single one.

Cons

-Really bad management who punish staff when they do not do their bidding, who have no respect for boundaries-and per the boss-if you don't like it, quit or be fired (a quote!). -Felt like middle-school as the boss CONSTANTLY gossiped to staff about other staff. (So incredibly unprofessional) -Schedule was always being changed and too bad if you had plans. -Constantly shorted hours despite being FT @ 30+/week; worked less than 20 hrs a week due to cancellations and low patient census. -All of this is known to HR and upper management but nothing changes. Good concept, poor execution. *** There's is always an open position because pf poor management - people quit a bad boss more than they quit a bad job.

Pros

Some of the physicians and co-workers were great people.

Cons

I don't write many reviews and debated on writing this one. If I can help another person from making the same mistake I did then this review is worth it. I left a position I was in for over 18 years to join the team at Dispatch Health. It was sold to me as a thriving, exciting startup that is growing and saw it's largest growth during the covid pandemic. Everything with the position was great for the first 3 months until they blind sided me with a mass company lay off. My biggest question is how can you hire me not knowing the company is financially strained. If they were honest up front I never would have left my position of 18 years. What I believe is more scary is that I'm not sure they even knew when I was hired that the company was bleeding money. I would be very cautious working with this company especially if you are leaving a well established position. From the little time I worked there I could tell they do not know how to budget and that was ultimately how 88 people lost their jobs on 1/17/23. I think they may need to look at who is driving the direction of this company.
