Pros

They will hire you at the drop of a hat with no experience.

Cons

Where do I begin? First and foremost I was lied to. I applied for a role on their Secure Mental Health Ambulances, when I started they put me on their Patient Transport Service and paid me less than was advertised. After complaining multiple times, I only got a response when I threatened to sue for Hiring Under False Pretences. I was then suddenly oved to Urgent Care with a slight pay bump, to a whopping 10p more than minimum wage. Despite advertising pay as "Competitive", they are the worst paying company in this sector. We had several different types of ambulance from our depot; PTS, Mental Health, and an Emergency ambulance that was only going out 4 days a week, at most, due to absolutely poor staffing. I offered to help cover the Emergency Ambulance (WITHOUT A PAY INCREASE) as I needed the hours to keep up my FREC4 qualification, they refused despite me making my concerns clear they will lose their contract as the truck almost never goes out. Sure enough not long after they lost the contract so now they have NO emergency ambulances going out, they also lost the PTS contract and their Falls Van contract as well. There are no staff benefits whatsoever; no sick pay, no OT, no weekend, no unsocial, no shift allowance, nothing. Management do not want to listen to any of us, despite being the ones on the ground actually doing the leg work. We have offered numerous ideas to improve the company and this is the result. They're losing staff, losing contracts and overall have a very poor name for themselves in the private ambulance sector.
