Pros

There are really no pros to working for this company other than maybe the benefits.

Cons

-no tattoos or piercings. Strictly enforced. - you will be written up if you talk or hang out with other employees above or below your pay grade outside of work. Management is very clique-y with DMs. So if you have a complaint about your manager, good luck expressing it. -Their employee purchase policy is ridiculous. You can only use your discount with your own money. If they have any speculation the money came from someone else (even if it’s cash) they will deny you if your discount. -they do not care about the well being of their employees. If they are understaffed, you may be forced to work open to close. Sometimes even by yourself. -their policies are very vague in the handbook so if you ask management if what you’re doing is wright or wrong, they can’t give you an answer. So you’re kinda just left in limbo wondering if you’re going to get written up. -store managers are constantly being moved around to help open new stores so assistants are left to run a store without any proper training. -if you don’t make your sales goals within the first couple months of employment, you get fired. Even if they miscalculated goal expectation for a newly opened store. - don’t expect to be able to use you’re sick time if you are a full time employee.

Pros

I had been with the company for 7 years..I obviously know what I’m doing and don’t need to be micromanaged which was nice until management changed…

Cons

Upper manager was CONSTANTLY changing! I had three DMs in a three year period and my store opened during the pandemic…There were days I would not be able to take a lunch break because I was by myself from open to close….I would travel for the company and drive to other stores to help out when that really wasn’t my problem or concern..I had a staff of three people…one full time and two part time and we made it work but they were constantly asking me to go help at other stores and I was like who is going to run my store! They “appreciated” me when they needed something from me but never appreciated me or compensated me for pretty much running a store myself. The last district manager I had was 23 and has not even been with the company very long and you can tell she’s immature and very unprofessional. She called the store one day and asked my staff to cover another store because she didn’t want to “have to work on her day off” and they ended up closing my store early so the ONE person who was working at my store could cover the other?! The DM lives here and was in town and that’s her job!! I was shocked…I always worked over 40 hours and never said anything because I’m the manger that’s my job but my superior didn’t have the same mentality. I cared more than she did. I can only imagine if I had told her that I didn’t want to work on my day off…that wasn’t an option…..
