      Pros

Lots of friendly people Rewards atmosphere (at first)

      Cons

Lots of internal politics, and older employees looking down on/blaming younger employees for problems caused also by their old school choices.

      Dyn is going places!

      Pros

I've been working for the EMEA organisation for a few months now and I've been really impressed with how friendly everyone is and how the business is run. In the style of an old cavalry general, Paul Heywood (MD of EMEA) leads from the front, however this is where the comparison with an old style leader ends. Paul mimics Dyn's own research division by continually communication with employees from all levels of the business. This took me by surprise at first but makes perfect sense in the context of a rapidly growing business. The product set is growing and there are some industry destroying products just around the corner. In short, this is a great company to work for; friendly and supportive colleagues, great leadership and a cool technology stack!

      Cons

Some of the GTM messaging for Dyn's new research based product set is a little confused but that's not surprising really as the Renesys acquisition wasn't actually that long ago. With careful management this problem will go away but this needs to be done as a matter of priority.

      Huge opportunity for ambitious individuals

      Pros

I have worked in a number of industries previously and never before have I been surround by so many intelligent, driven individuals. Dyn offers a ton of perks when an employee, unlimited PTO, gym membership, subsidised regular staff nights out, a kitchen full of food and alcohol - a new craft beer on tap every 10 days. However, don't let the perks fool you into a false sense of security, everything you are given is done so that you do not 'want' for anything and you are as PRODUCTIVE and hard working as possible. At the end of the day most of the employees are in sales with targets over their heads. Generally speaking the management are helpful and engaging - sometimes a little scathing, but in order to be in sales you need a thick skin and it is all done as a means of motivation to succeed.

      Cons

The learning/training period at the company was a little confused with a number of growing pains, however this is understandable as the products are currently going through a period of revamp. No other cons to report at this point - I do not know of anyone in a comparable level sales job that comes anywhere close to the role here.

      Culture, Progression & Fun

31 Jul 2015 - EMEA ACCOUNT MANAGER in Brighton, England, England

      Pros

If you are after a great working environment with people who actually care about your professional and personal development then Dyn would be a great fit. The progression opportunities are unrivalled. I have worked at Dyn for the past year and a half, that has seen me rise through the Lead Development Representative Role (LDR) to our Junior Sales Team and now finally in the fully fledged EMEA Sales Team. The people here are passionate, work hard and play even harder. The foundation is there for success. Internet Performance is critical to start-ups and global enterprises alike. Dyn's solutions solve real problems. You will have the opportunity to learn about and work with inspirational products that are re-mapping the industry. Alongside that you will have the chance to travel, attend events, meet new people and clients along the way. The perks of working for a company like Dyn are difficult to find in any other business. Would recommend it to anyone who has the drive to do well.

      Cons

      No cons. Great graduate opportunity.

      Great springboard but uncertain future

      Pros

Great perks like free beer, unlimited PTO, pension scheme, gym membership, etc. Excellent opportunity to gain experience that can be used elsewhere. In EMEA there is some exceptional talent and you'll be working with a close-knit team - especially true for the technical teams. Dyn have a fantastic opportunity to carve their own niche and own this market.

      Cons

Very confused direction. Senior management seem disconnected from the rest of the business and do not listen to the frontline. I wouldn't recommend joining Dyn if you're looking for easy or straightforward sells. Expect a hard time demonstrating value - you'll be re-educating the market and competing with companies offering very competitive rates. Marketing, Product and Sales are misaligned: Marketing/messaging is misleading and seems to be focused on pure lead generation rather than marketing the Dyn platform and creating valuable opportunities. Product teams are good but very siloed and aren't given the opportunity or responsibility to answer to the rest of this business. Sales training could be improved. Lack of transparency - important information often isn't communicated to the sales teams.

Best company I've worked for in the UK

      Pros

-Great benefits - Gym, Health Insurance, Bonus Scheme (even for non-sales staff). -Good work atmosphere - No negative work environment. Management works closely with their team members. -Work hard - even if there are 'fun' things like a pool table/games console/nerf guns, they are not obsessed over or distracting. Everyone sticks to their tasks and even though downtime and fun things have their place, they do not take precedent over getting work done properly.

      Cons

      - Lack of communication between the international offices sometimes. I guess this comes hand-in-hand with international expansion.

Great platform to kick start a career!

      Pros

Upbeat and sociable culture, with lots of opportunities to excel and learn if you take them! Dyn is an excellent platform to kick start your career for a first job as a graduate.. hard work and lots to learn but there are great rewards to be earned and the office is very friendly environment to work in.

      Cons

Rely on the USA HQ heavily for training and resources which can sometimes be annoying due to time differences and online conference technical difficulties etc.

      Pros

-great office in EMEA -fun, smart, hard working colleagues -decent enough salary -good training opportunities provided -great social life -great for grads -Jeremy Hitchcock is fantastic, really nice guy and very approachable -company has a big future -current sales managers of new business and accounts team are brilliant. Very professional, experienced and fair people.

      Cons

-upper level of management can isolate employees, not very encouraging -head office seems to forget it is a global organisation occasionally -would like to see more credit and respect for hard working individuals who deserve it, not just people they like -some decisions around staff and structure seem to be made very quickly with little vetting
