Pick another company, you will waste time, money.

Cons

Always changing laws, and they take your money if the customer call for ask some questions. Crazy company

Beautiful rooms, friendly staff, nice gardens

Cons

New ceo changed all the good that made hospice what it was meant to be. Now, if you’re not dying fast enough, 2 weeks or less ( at Woodsode), they “graduate” you. Pretty pathetic. A constant revolving door. Can’t keep staff, poorly trained. It used to be nearly impossible to get your foot in the door if you wanted to work there, me, just under 2 years. Took a huge pay cut, never regretted it. 10 years, then let go. Many of us over a good length of time were let go, while 11 Vice President positions were formed. FYI if you do decide to work at one of the call centers, be prepared to stop everything your doing for patient/family to entertain Rafael’s dog (seriously).

Pros

The client engagement is the highlight of the position. The ability to work with top notch hospitals and senior leadership over rode the treatment by EMPATH leadership.

Cons

Lack of integrity related to clients and employees. Poor treatment of employees-punitive environment Extremely long work days, up to 16 hrs
