      Good benefits Good work - life balance Opportunities to grow within the company ( if you are liked by the right people) Opportunities to go back to school

      Cons

      Culture of fear created and encouraged by the upper management. Employees will not report incidents or concerns in fear of loosing their job Lack of communication from the upper management to their subordinates. Unprofessional handling and sharing of company's information. Separation of employees either voluntarily or not based on whether they are liked by upper management Reports to the HR of incidents of retaliation which have either been ignored or tolerated.

      Pros

      Ability to work from home if needed, direct supervisor very knowledgeable and accommodating. People are committed to the work. Most of the people I work with have been around this field for a long time so have a lot of knowledge and expertise.

      Cons

      Part of the organization changed a lot a few months ago and people were moved around to different teams. There’s a lot of frustration about how that happened because we weren’t asked where we think we would fit best. Upper management doesn’t know half of what we know and it’s really frustrating to see them make decisions without even talking to us.

      It’s difficult to advance if you’re not in the right crowd. Professional development is difficult to access for some as well while others attend multiple conferences yearly.
