Pros

Used to be a good place to work. Great additional benefits package.

Cons

EditShare only recognise the achievements of those with the loudest voice or the highest visibility. Location is vital, if you are not in one of the main offices then you don't exist unless you are in sales. You can work extremely hard defining or streamlining processes to make the team more efficient with great success but no recognition of your achievements. There is no career ladder, if you want a promotion, get another job. Some staff members are arrogant, dismissive, unaccepting or actively spiteful. Management don't keep their promises. Nepotism is rife in the new additional layers of management, their friends and former colleagues are preferred in positions that more qualified people are better suited to. Staff are not valued at all, its become a factory, churning out its products as fast as its staff.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on the company, and sorry to hear that you felt there was a lack of career progression for you within the company. At EditShare, our global team and our values are at the heart of everything we do, and as we continue to grow as a global business our goal is to invest more strategically in our employees and the communities we support. Some of the exciting things on the agenda for this year is the roll out of job ladders which provides a clear and consistent definition of jobs, structures, and associated career paths and opportunities within the business. In addition last year we launched our reward and peer to peer recognition platform which gives all our employees, managers, and executives the ability to recognise each other with a personal message and reward points. We are also excited to launch more reward initiatives for our employees later on this year. We look forward to continued feedback from the team.

Pros

Supportive work life balance. Lots of company perks. Clear communication with the head of management.

Cons

In the engineering department, they can completely 180 plans at times which throws you off. Singular large customer demands can completely change road map plans

Pros

If you can find any of the original staff that still remain at EditShare they a great team to work with. Used to be a small business where employees mattered and were treated like family by the former owners

Cons

EditShare has become an Americanised company where everyone is replacable and no one is appreciated. Staff turnover is now huge. And the new management have fired all the original members of staff that helped make this company what it is today
