-Literally not many pros unless you just need a transition paycheck, but many of the workers are pleasant to be around
Cons
-horrible pay, and I mean really bad-- less than half of what industry standards are in the area, and not livable in the Portland metro area-- plan to move to Washougal, bc you won't be able to afford anything else -screenshot monitor (a free version-- so probably contributing to facial recognition software or spyware, and no option to not have the monitor on your PERSONAL computer collecting god knows what information unless you want to go in the office where they don't wear masks) -a "we're all family" attitude which really means-- "we want you to work and do as we say without any pushback, no compensation, and we'll probably yell at you even though none of us have actual training or education in SEO, advertising, or digital marketing" -far too much work and high expectations for little pay -very little PTO for a company in this industry -benefits are expensive and not affordable if you have any dependents or existing care requirements -absolutely zero transparency from the top down, you will never understand why decisions are made -really low-quality work output (u cannot use any of it for a portfolio unless you want to be embarrassed)-- I mean, they use clients' websites for back linking and truly don't understand what makes SEO work (minus the ONE knowledgable web dev)-- stuck in 2005 -wage freeze, some workers were making $13 an hour (barf) with no raises for two years -if you're looking for a longterm career, look elsewhere, you'll be working until you're dead (no retirement plans) -the sales reps are absolutely insufferable. it's practically impossible to listen to them talk. but you have to, bc guess what, their all related to your boss And, the most damning of all of it, at the beginning of COVID, they didn't want to let anyone work from home and showed up with homemade hand sanitizer in 3oz cups as a "gesture". They have no idea how much undue mental stress they put on all of their employees-- many of us had severe mental health issues and the message was "if i'm working through it, you should too bc ive been thru worse"--truly a miserable place to work.
