There are growing pains, as is expected with any company transitioning from startup to commercialization. While there’s a strong need for automation to optimize workflows, the financial constraints of being a private, venture-funded company mean that investments in new tools must be carefully justified. This sometimes results in inefficiencies that impact productivity.
We’re also in an interesting period of cultural evolution. As the company grows, there’s a natural blending of early-stage employees with deep R&D roots and newer hires focused on scalability and optimization. At times, this can lead to a fixed mindset that slows progress, not out of resistance, but from differing perspectives on how to best evolve our systems and workflows.
