"A great place to work"
Pros
I joined in 2015, and I got to work immediately with existing SCADA clients and generated new business opportunities on large scale Enterprise Optimization projects. I was very well supported internally and I really enjoyed the high level conversations I was having with clients and prospects - Big Data Advanced Analytics. The clients I was working with represent some of the largest companies in the world and they were very impressed with not only my professionalism but every Elutions colleague I introduced to them along the journey we were taking together to successful deployment of our solution. I reluctantly left Elutions in April 2017, only because I was head-hunted for a role that presented me with the chance to enhance my career with more responsibility (Managing people), learn new skills in a different software environment and a higher salary. I hated it, I wish I'd never left Elutions at the end of my first week. The environment wasn't dynamic, there was very little support, and the 'solutions' were not very interesting to say the least. I returned to Elutions in September 2017, having spent 4 months away. Thankfully and with a huge sigh of relief, everyone at Elutions and all of my client accounts accepted me back and I got back to work immediately. In the 4 months that I'd been away, Elutions had made even more improvements to their core solutions, and made significant industry gains in the market. Elutions technology is constantly evolving to market conditions and requirements, WE are a very dynamic company with very talented individuals throughout all departments. Some quick Pros: * Market leading solutions in Control systems and Enterprise Optimization * It's a very positive and supportive working environment * Elutions offer attractive salaries and competitive commission schemes * You get to work on exciting software opportunities from the 'ground floor' to the 'very top' of some of the largest organisations in the world * My colleagues are some of the most talented individuals in the software-Energy-Process-Controls market * Senior management recognize your efforts and achievements - something larger corporations are not very good at!
Cons
* It's hard work! But that comes with the extensive governance required to 'pull over the line' multi million pound deals
