Pros

- The coworkers who actually do the work are amazing, but they’re constantly burned out or leaving. - Benefits are fine if you can survive the toxic environment long enough to use them.

Cons

- HR is not there to help you. They’re there to protect management at all costs. I personally experienced and witnessed multiple cases of harassment and retaliation where nothing was done to the offender, but the victims were either moved, silenced, or pushed out. - Sexism and harassment are baked into the culture. Harassers are protected, while those who speak up are treated like the problem. - Toxic leaders thrive here. Bullies, liars, and creeps stay in power because they’re “well connected” while good employees are treated as disposable. - Nepotism runs rampant. Promotions and opportunities often go to friends and family of upper management, regardless of actual skill or performance. - Management acts baffled about their retention problem while simultaneously creating the exact environment that drives people away. - You’ll be lowballed on salary unless you aggressively negotiate. I needed a $25k correction just to be brought up to a fair pay level. - Morale is in the gutter. You’ll be expected to tolerate bad behavior from leadership while being micromanaged into the ground.

Pros

My pros are my manager and team coworkers. Outside of that not really a fan. I do well at what I do.

Cons

Honestly, ever since new management has come for the upper VPs and directors, a lot has shifted for the negative. Feels very micromanaging when we were told we were doing fine at home and there was no reason to have us come back in the office. Now suddenly we’re being forced back to the office. Other departments and I don’t really get along because there’s a bunch of petty people just trying to get others in trouble and all I’m doing is trying to do my job. Where I am at, everyone just talks all day and then complains about how much work they have.
