    Pros

    - Good work life balance with social events aplenty, along with good camaraderie amongst work colleagues.
    - Good benefits package, although remuneration could be better.

    Cons

    - Uncertain times with impending redundancies at the moment in particular for experienced hires.
    - Many colleagues are respectfully "old timers", although this is being addressed.
    - Work can be dull at times.

    Advice to Management

Improve remuneration to retain the top talent.

    Pros

Company with a very strong pedigree and some very impressive products within the military domain. Getting to work on some very interesting areas and think about potential scenarios with the latest military hardware available.

    Cons

A company that doesn't reward it's employees well enough in terms of remuneration and promotion prospects. There is the view that you need to have grey hair and decades of experience to be credible so the principles of a meritocracy are not executed well in practice.

    Advice to Management

Reward your top performers by actively supporting their career and providing competitive salaries.

    Pros

It was okay. Atleast I had a short commute to the location and my boss was understanding if I was late some days.

    Cons

    It could have been better.

    Advice to Management

More pay would be nice but I think BAE could offer more for us employees and then the place would be good to work for.

I worked at BAE Systems USA full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

At least in my positions, quality management that works to find positions for its employees.

    Cons

Somewhat of a clique culture that can make moving up a little more difficult if that is your goal. That had not been my goal while employed there, but it is complaint I heard from others and it seemed to have some merit.

    Advice to Management

Continue hiring decent managers from within. If/when possible, do not shift managers from one client to another, but keep management positions open to teammates who have been working with the client.

    Pros

    Education Benifits
    Experience
    Growing company
Surrounded by good people and hardworking people. There are great growth opportunities and different avenues to promote up the chain. Not a company that lays off people when work gets slow

    Cons

    Not very strong leadership
A lot of firefighting not preventing
Not too many cons I can think of, I just wish the food at the cafe wasn’t so crazy priced

    Advice to Management

Hold people accountable for their jobs.

I have been working at BAE Systems USA full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Generally good company culture... Good emphasis on keeping and training a talented work force. Competitive compensation and benefits, but they don't intend to "lead the way" in compensation. Good work-life balance.

    Cons

It often seems like they over-emphasize years of experience or years at BAE, over skills and potential.

    Advice to Management

Put more emphasis on appreciating and compensating the "worker bees" and less on bonuses, etc. for the middle and upper management.
