      Pros

      BCOTB gives you the training and tools for success, and they provide ongoing opportunities for certifications and growth within the field. The team you work with is fantastic, supportive, and understanding. There are plenty of opportunities to explore niche parts of the field that you’re interested in, and the company will reimburse you for conferences, BACB exams, and outside trainings. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing the faces of your clients light up from their success.

      Cons

      Working in the field of ABA can be stressful and exhausting due to the nature of the work we do. This is not at all unique to BCOTB and they will definitely work with you to try to make a schedule that is balanced as far as clients go, however there are limits to what is possible based on the schedule you give them and your clients’ schedules. It can be challenging when you first start to get raises, but they give you a clear outline of how to get there, and all of the boxes you check on that journey are new bullets for your resume and grad school applications (if you want to go down that route).

We know the work is exhausting and continue to communicate and solicit feedback to seek solutions that help mitigate burnout.
