      Pros

      I worked at VMware for more than 2 years, had a great time learning and working on projects. The culture, people and work life balance at VMware were all great.

      Cons

      The acquisition phase by Broadcom was very uncertain and not transparent enough. I hope it gets better after the acquisition.

      Broadcom offers great compensation and benefits

      Cons

      Wasn't a con for me but was for some, but remote work is highly discouraged and rare, most people must go into the office every day. Also, it is a rank and yank system.
