Pros

Burtch Works has been an exceptional place to grow my career. The company provides incredible opportunities for development, with leadership that is truly invested in the success of every team member. Michael, our CEO, is truly one of a kind—he not only leads with a servant leadership style but also genuinely cares about and invests in each employee’s personal, professional, and financial goals. His dedication creates an environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to succeed. What sets Burtch Works apart is the commitment to creating meaningful connections—both with clients and within the team. The work we do impacts lives, and it’s rewarding to see how our talent solutions make a difference. The support and mentorship I’ve received here have been invaluable to my professional growth. If you’re looking for a place to thrive, work with talented and driven individuals, and make a real impact, I highly recommend Burtch Works.

Cons

As a company in the staffing and recruiting industry, which can be inherently volatile, there are natural ups and downs to navigate. Additionally, being a growing and entrepreneurial organization, it sometimes feels like things are moving quickly, requiring adaptability and a proactive mindset.

Pros

There was money to be made and some coworkers are enjoyable.

Cons

The CEO can talk about every big idea he has over and over again, but you will never see it happen. Every conversation he has is an overexaggerated version of what actually took place. If you ask a question that reflects on him, you are only giving him the chance to build his ego. No one is happy, and no one will ever be happy here. This place is a high school hallway where everyone talks about each other, spreads rumors, and causes problems. You find two good people, and you're lucky if that. Everyone used to know what they were doing, but the CEO has made everyone so beaten down that nobody knows what they're doing anymore. On their best day, sure. On every other day, it's like watching your grandma try to unlock her phone. Morale is so low, its disappointing to see people come in and change overtime. Bonding with your coworkers is forced, and company trips to Cincinnati are required to do the weirdest activities and talk about things that could be over Teams. Its strange when every other place I've worked has allowed me to have a drink at dinner but here the CEO doesn't you to drink when bonding with the team at activities.
