Pros
The people are the best reason to work for Cadence. Everyone was very supportive and helped each other in the areas I worked with. There was always a great amount of work to be done, but people had a positive attitude and acheived results. The benefits package was very good. Hires started with 3 weeks vacation. There was a matching gifts program. I was proud of the company's annual Stars and Strikes program and how we helped with aid to disasters. The helpdesks did a superb job of supporting requests. The IT knowledgebase was well maintained and answered many straightforward questions.
Cons
The technology of some applications and systems was not always current.
