Thank you for leaving your review. We offer personal and professional development opportunities to help our team members develop in their careers and encourage staff to discuss their development with their line manager during the Mid and End of Year review process. We are also developing a career development pathway as part of our ongoing improvements.
Thank you for your feedback. We want everyone at Certas Energy to feel supported. If you are open to it, we would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your experience further and hear your ideas on how we can improve our workplace culture. Please feel free to reach out to HRsharedservices@certasenergy.co.uk
The best thing about working for Certas is that they are forever making people redundant, so you likely won't have to endure the management team for very long anyway.
Cons
Poor leadership ruins the role
The day-to-day work itself is manageable, but the leadership in the National Stock Management and Operations Support department makes it a toxic place to work. The Manager is a textbook micromanager with zero people skills, making it impossible to work with any autonomy. To make matters worse, the Assistant Manager is a bully who creates a hostile environment. I cannot recommend working under this specific leadership team.
The pay is poor and only just about scrapes minimum wage. The low salary is absolutely not worth the stress that comes with the job.
