Pros
Some really decent colleages here who go unappreciated and hired over from outside by directors. You see women get passed over alot here for men from outside - happens at all levels and all areas Benefits are ok Has tried to do some good engagement on climate and health and charity but feels a bit flat and cynical at times especially all the emails on mental health but when people have real problems they get managed out
Cons
crazy targets all the time mean impossible to make bonus now The systems are so bad for order taking very high turn over on staff lost all customer focus as for staff to care about customers they need to feel safe at work and to engage - as such we have no idea what customers are up to alot of staff have set up at the competition making it a tough market

Pros
You get to go home in the evening. Tired.
Cons
Complete lack of respect for the drivers. Management seem to think they know the job because they read a handbook. No support from your Management. They look for every excuse to belittle you because they are very important and know your job better than you.

Pros
One or two of my co-workers were fun to be around and made it somewhat tolerable.
Cons
They do not care about your health or safety. They'll save as much money as possible however they can. They do not provide you with working equipment to safely and efficiently do your job. They never believe you when you're sick and force you to work with sick co-workers. The particular station that I worked at felt as though I was back at school with a bunch of catty mean girls. Everyone talks trash about you behind your back and most of them are incredibly passive aggressive and overly mean to customers for absolutely no reason. You will be micromanaged and looked down on. If you are actually good at your job, you will not get opportunities to advance in your career. They do not care about you. They are insufferable. You are replaceable.

Pros
Excellent lower management that help develop careers Hybrid working and remote Room to grow and advance your career if you work hard
Cons
Higher management can sometimes be oblivious to certain issues on the front line. Commission scheme is ridiculous

Pros
None, none, none, and none
Cons
I started working at certas as a temp along with about 4 other people. Within the first week one person had already left. The first few weeks involved a lot of training which was pointless as the company makes constant changes to procedure and never has any communication between departments. I handed in my notice due to stress and was not offered garden leave. I was told I would not be paid for the hours I’d worked that month or the commission I’d earned. Which as I quit a day after payday on monthly pay I was owed the commission I’d earned over the month, after a lot of back and forth between myself and HR (with me chasing a response for weeks having to go through LinkedIn an employee in HR’s personal page) and being told I owed Certas 3.5 days salary, with a follow up email asking if I’d like to make a payment plan to arrange repayment. I replied that I am still waiting for them to calculate my commission to which I eventually had a reply from HR to say apologies they do owe me money, not the other way around! As I had been saying all along! To leave a job you enjoy, with colleagues you had genuinely become friends with ultimately because the Company doesn’t know up from down. I laugh at the statement that Certas believes it has high customer satisfaction. The amount of legitimate concern for welfare cases that were not taken seriously. The constant overcharging customers during a cost of living crisis. More calls logging complaints than sales. They said when I applied the company was always doing social events when in reality people leave so often there’s a leaving party every month. When a member of staff in management was asked to leave for sending inappropriate photos to a new employee and then came back under a different role causing that employee to leave their job? Nothing is taken seriously.
