      Citi is a large corporation with a lot of opportunity for both career growth and career change. There is a concerted effort to promote meritocracy.

      Cons

      Citi is very large. It is hard to find what is done by units with which you have no contact.

      Great collaboration between work groups. There used to be room for advancement and diversity in the workplace.

      Cons

      Lack of job security for several years culminating in a layoff after nearly 3 decades with the firm. Like many places, benefits, raises, and advancement opportunities diminished over time as the firm decided to offshore roles.
