Pros

The work is interesting and the compensation is on par with the rest of the industry. A lot of the work centers on developing product for US auto manufacturers, so one feels to be making a difference and contributing to the bottom line. The people are generally pleasant to work with and team atmosphere is pervasive.

Cons

Continental has a well deserved reputation for cheapness. Projects are under-resourced and tools to do the job are inadequate. Decisions regarding IT infrastructure seem to be made solely on up-front cost without regard to function. The company grew through large acquisitions and is scrambling to make its debt payments -- massive cost-cutting pervades the company and customers suffer.

Pros

Great work life balance and culture. If you want to work at a place that will provide a low stress, flexible position with amazing people, this place is no doubt one of the best in that area.

Cons

Pay is low compared to other companies in the area and the cost of living in the area is high. They seem to be outsourcing jobs to cut costs, so job security is not the best right now.
