Pros
money can be good (but its not worth the stress or workload)
Cons
- management - no work / life balance Everything but the pay. Management are bullies, they'll be nice when you first start but then will treat you like you are below them. They will try to bully you into picking up vehicles that are too heavy or that you're unsure about and then will offer no support if it goes wrong. You're not valued as a team member but just as a number to tick off their checklist. Management gossip about driver mistakes and will try to make it out like you're stupid. The managers on the other sections are alright its just transport manager that's the main issue. Everyone is too afraid to make a mistake or ask for support as everyone knows that this will be used against you. The actual job itself could be enjoyable if there was a supportive / proffessional manager. All the drivers are constantly stressed and its very rare to have a "good" day. 10% of the drivers are nice the rest are just followers trying to get a better run or trying to avoid getting bullied. I dealt with this company for just over 2 years and couldn't wait to leave. Don't let the money blind you to what sort of work place you are entering into. It'll never be worth it.
