Pros

End of year Christmas dinner is paid for

Cons

If you work off-site as a contractor for another company you are in no-mans land. Your employer does not know you & you are not able to get involved with them at their office, because you are contracted to someone else. Your contractor company sees you are not needed, you are never allowed to get involved with what they do as its for "employees" only. Overall management is bad, you get not recognition for what you have done. Expect to be handballed jobs from the position above you and your manager not intervene.

Pros

The company values its employees.

Cons

My supervisor advised me to find work to do on my own (“nagging” my coworkers) rather than include me in kick-off meetings or including me in the initial project workflow. She supported a work environment that churned out marketing materials as quickly as possible, forsaking quality. While giving some coworkers kudos for their work, she never acknowledged my work to the team.
