It troubles me to read this post, because you clearly believe that the company has not lived up to its own standards in how it handled your concern. I want to stress that ASML and Cymer take any potential ethics violation very seriously, and indeed retaliation is never acceptable. Ensuring the anonymity of those reporting potential ethics issues is a top priority for ASML. To that end, we make use of an external platform where people can leave a message about potential issues. This system guarantees anonymity and does not make it possible for me or anyone else at ASML to track who left a message.
