Pros
As a Dockworker: it's fast pace environment where you'll scan boxes in the system with a scanner, reweigh them, and then scan them into huge containers... Really easy but less than 40 hours a week. Pay in Tracy CA is $13.00 as opposed to $9 being minimum wage in the state. People leave this position a lot. As a Driver: there's some opportunity for overtime and some times you finish early and go home early. Overall fun job for being able to listen music and deliver mail. Most of the time you get good vacation time as long as it doesn't conflict with other employees.
Cons
No growth for raises. Same pay year after year. $13/hr for a private company and not the real DHL. You have to work in the Bay Area to be with the real DHL.
