Pros
+ Smart, collaborative colleagues + Fully remote (work from home) + Lots of opportunities to learn new things and work on different projects + Good work/life balance if you're willing to set firm boundaries (and your leadership abides by those boundaries) + Company culture has improved since Salvino became CEO
Cons
- Company strategy is all high-level: no details; no concrete plans to fill in those details; little understanding of how the strategy and lack of details/plans affect employees and customers - Continual layoffs: teams are being cut to the point that they can't function and are then cut more for non-performance; those who remain have constant survivor guilt - Salaried US employees haven't had raises in years; lots of talk about changing this but no action; many of the employees who came from HPE haven't had raises in >5 years - Managers are afraid of the L2/executive level, to the point where they're afraid to bring up problems and concerns; this exacerbates the issues and creates a culture of fear - Feeling like you're constantly treading water and not getting anywhere
