Pros
•If you’re a new grad, this place might seem like a good way to get your foot in the door. You’ll probably learn a lot quickly because they throw you right into the deep end. •Some team members are great and genuinely supportive when they’re not caught up in the toxicity. •They advertise unlimited PTO, which sounds great at first (but see below…).
Cons
•The culture can be pretty toxic. Some people constantly talk over others in meetings or act passive-aggressive, and management doesn’t seem to care. It’s hard to feel valued or heard. •Leadership is heavily influenced by favoritism. If you’re not in their inner circle or “on their side,” good luck getting your concerns addressed. •They hire lots of new grads, probably because they’re easier to overwork and won’t push back as much. •The on-call expectations are ridiculous. It’s super demanding and completely ignores any concept of work-life balance. •The “unlimited PTO” is kind of a joke. Sure, it’s “unlimited,” but management won’t let you take more than two weeks off at a time, so it’s not as flexible as they make it sound. •If you’re experienced, this place will frustrate you. Creativity and innovation take a backseat to just keeping your head down and going along with whatever leadership wants.
