Pros
There's a lot to love about working at Duco. The culture is excellent in that they really care about the people who work there, offering support that goes above and beyond what many companies would offer. Things that would be gimmicks in other companies, like unlimited holiday, are genuine offerings here, and you can often see people taking full advantage of benefits like flexible working, such as ducking out in the afternoon to go for a run, or just taking some chill time. It's a company full of talent, and its fast growth means there are a lot of opportunities to learn new skills and build a strong CV. You have the chance to make an impact here - not something that is true of many companies where every possible task or need already has a dedicated person or people working on it. One of Duco's biggest strengths is how approachable everyone is. Working across departments is essential for many of us, and you can always be sure of a friendly response and a helpful answer.
Cons
Many of the challenges Duco faces are the same as any other fast growing company: at some point more focus needs to be given to strategy rather than quick wins. This requires taking your foot off the gas and stepping back, which isn't always easy. As other reviews have noted, the stage of its journey Duco is at means that a job here suits a certain type of person; it's certainly not for everyone. You have to be adaptable, willing to jump in and pick up a task that's not strictly your remit, and generally be ready for things to change at short notice. If you want a steady job that's well-defined and comfortable, you probably won't find it here.
