Pros

Since I work from home, I have a lot of autonomy over my schedule. There is a very positive culture of being as helpful as possible. Upper management reaches out via email and skype meetings to keep in touch with all of the remote employees like myself. I received a very nice bonus this year in addition to a $100 Visa giftcard for Christmas. They provide good benefits including: health insurance, life insurance, 401(k) with matching up to 5% of salary, plenty of PTO/sick days, health advocate, and more. They were recently bought out by Engie, but even within this new company, Ecova is still growing rapidly.

Cons

I have to work in isolation a lot. which can get depressing. Their educational reimbursement program is useless; it doesn't provide nearly enough and you have to apply to be eligible, which isn't bad, except you don't find out if you are eligible or not until an entire month into your semester after you've already paid tuition. Most advancement opportunities require relocation.

Pros

The work can be challenging but also fulfilling at the same time and many opportunities and resources to learn. The pay and benefits are a little above average.

Cons

The culture has adversely changed where it used to be cooperative but now it is more cut-throat and many things are not communicated properly and an imbalance of responsibility and accountability which is causing conflict. There are many "exceptions".
