Pros

PTO, decent pay, easy work

Cons

You will be expected to act like a robot. Management does not want any talk going on, even work related, and does not want employees to collaborate as a team, much less on a one-on-one basis. Management plays favorites and will let their favorites steal hours worth of time but will get on anyone else for "too many bathroom breaks". You will never feel appreciated or treated like a human at this place. Also, 80% of the employees sleep around the office regardless of whether they are married or not and cause a ton of drama/gossip on the teams.

Thank you for sharing your review after more than 3 years with us in Houston. We are pleased to hear that you find the overall total compensation fair compared to industry standards. At ENGIE, transparency and fairness in rewards are essential priorities, and we are glad that our employees know and understand the elements of their compensation through our pay transparency policy. We also take your comments regarding the competitiveness of the bonus payout structure seriously. Your feedback is highly valuable as we regularly analyze our compensation programs to remain competitive within the industry. Sincerely, The ENGIE Team

Pros

The work can be challenging but also fulfilling at the same time and many opportunities and resources to learn. The pay and benefits are a little above average.

Cons

The culture has adversely changed where it used to be cooperative but now it is more cut-throat and many things are not communicated properly and an imbalance of responsibility and accountability which is causing conflict. There are many "exceptions".
